So your Computer has turned to jello. PC failure is inevitable in the long run, and that failure always seems to happen right as your using your computer at a critical time.

After visiting various local electronics stores, it was determined that people are really being charged through the nose for a usually relatively easy maintenance work. Years ago, in the late 80's and early 90's, computer components were repaired by electronics experts that would replace bad components, capacitors, to fix the device. Now parts are much cheaper and very advanced, so repairs at the components level is rare.

Unfortunately, local retailers are still charging astronomical prices.
